Main Features

  • Chucks can hold workpieces, making it possible to perform stone lapping of flat surfaces of irregular shapes
  • Double-station machine that uses rotating cup-shaped grindstone on the stone head
  • Horizontal oscillation mechanism suppresses irregular vibration to the lowest amount. This general-purpose infeed-type machine is equipped with our original AEROLIDE® stone lapping unit, which uses air bearings at its sliding parts.
  • Quickly removes lapping chatter, swells, and surface layer damage of the workpiece outer diameter with low-temperature and low-pressure cutting. Roundness and surface roughness are also drastically improved. No loss in accuracy or maintenance issues caused by wear on the sliding parts. (The stone lapping unit carries a 5-year precision warranty.)
