Main Features

  • Stone lapping machine capable of finishing end surfaces of cylindrical or tapered rollers after forging or grinding to a flat or spherical surface. The machined surface can also be finished with cross-hatch or concentric patterns.
  • Double-station machine capable of stone lapping on both ends. Also provides separate rough, finish, and stone lapping machining, enabling reduced cycle time for workpieces with comparatively large stocks.
  • Unique air bearing mechanism is employed at the grindstone pressure slide guides. Space-saving centerless spherical (flat) stone lapping machine with nanometer-level accuracy that enables ultra-low-pressure cutting with zero resistance due to slide friction.
  • Precisely adjustable swivel mechanism (0-10° angle) installed at the stone head portion enables creation of fully accurate spherical profiles. The tilting mechanism also enables precise adjustment of stone alignment.
  • Two-roller & one-shoe support system provides good parallelism and squareness against the mounting reference plane
  • An optional in-process gauging device allows for easy automatic dimension management
  • A cutting speed control servomechanism that controls the electropneumatic regulator for pressurizing the grindstone is employed, allowing you to assign pressure and speed settings at multiple steps for significant improvements in accuracy and efficiency
