Main Features

  • Capable of machining long workpieces with wider traverse range than the CN-350NC model
  • General-purpose stone lapping machine that can cover various workpiece shapes (stepped, eccentric, etc.). Workpieces are held at the center or by the chuck.
  • Horizontal oscillation mechanism suppresses irregular vibration to the lowest amount. This general-purpose infeed-type machine is equipped with our original AEROLIDE® stone lapping unit, which uses air bearings at its sliding parts.
  • Quickly removes lapping chatter, swells, and surface layer damage of the workpiece outer diameter with low-temperature and low-pressure cutting. Roundness and surface roughness are also drastically improved. No loss in accuracy or maintenance issues caused by wear on the sliding parts. (The stone lapping unit carries a 5-year precision warranty.)
  • Outer diameter stone lapping made possible by holding workpieces at the center on both ends. Inner and outer diameter stone lapping also possible by inner and outer diameter chucking.
  • Easy changeover makes it ideal for prototype machining, etc.
