Main Features

  • Capable of stone lapping on end surfaces of workpieces, lengths of up to 85 mm.
  • Stone lapping machine capable of finishing end surfaces of cylindrical or tapered rollers after forging or grinding to a flat or spherical surface. The machined surface can also be finished with cross-hatch or concentric patterns.
  • Precisely adjustable swivel mechanism (0-10° angle) installed at the stone head portion enables creation of fully accurate spherical profiles.
    The tilting mechanism also enables precise adjustment of stone alignment.
  • Two-roller & one-shoe support system provides good parallelism and squareness against the mounting reference plane
  • An optional in-process gauging device allows for easy automatic dimension management
  • A cutting speed control servomechanism that controls the electropneumatic regulator for pressurizing the grindstone is employed, allowing you to assign pressure and speed settings at multiple steps for significant improvements in accuracy and efficiency
  • Capable of finishing both end surfaces of cylindrical rollers, equipped with flip and reloading unit
